| Sunshine live! - The sun in Venosta Valley does extraordinary things,
in the true sense of the word, so that you can enjoy your holiday.
The Venosta Valley is among the southern Alpine regions with the least
amount of annual precipitation. A little more than 400mm of rain per
year are almost Mediterranean levels which, at least, permit intensive
agricultural activity without the need for artificial irrigation installations.
At one time, farmers used to divert water from the lake, collected
in wells and used to water the fields. Along the tracks of these irrigation
canals, called “Waale”, we have, today, the sunniest and
